It can move and take its Reaction on its own, but the only action it takes is the [b]Dodge[\/b] action unless you take a Bonus Action to command it to take an action. If you have the [b]incapacitated[\/b] condition, the defender acts on its own and isn\u2019t limited to the [b]Dodge[\/b] action.[\/p]\r\n[p][b]Restoring or Replacing the Defender[\/b]. If the defender has died within the last hour, you can take a [b]Magic[\/b] action to touch it and expend a spell slot. The defender returns to life after 1 minute with all its Hit Points restored.[\/p]\r\n[p]Whenever you finish a\u00a0[b]Long Rest[\/b], you can create a new Steel Defender if you have Smith\u2019s Tools in hand.
