Festal Fisk
Overview:
My tabaxi rogue is loud-spoken, sometimes drunk but fairly friendly. I hate being treated like a "cat" in ANY way or having my cat traits pointed out, because I have a dark past where I was once captured by a jerk who treated me like a pet. I still do cat things like purr when I'm happy, but god help the idiot who brings it up!
As a young one, I wandered a bit but never too far from home, just to explore and find interesting artifacts to study. However, once I finished with an item, instead of giving it away or getting rid of it, I like to store them away until I can find a person who will truly appreciate it for both the $$ value AND the knowledge value.
For this reason, my own clan decided I was a total hoarder (in a bad way), and committed me to mental health facilities on more than one occasion. This is how I got good at escaping and sneaking around!
I love the ocean cuz that's where I first ran away to after an escape, and it gave me a sense of freedom and also I loved how mysterious and full of secrets it seemed, so my number one goal in life became meeting a Triton creature! Soooooo many secrets!
Also because of all those years of forced therapy, I HATE talking about feelings, and will rant loudly about some random lore or story to avoid being vulnerable or discussing emotions.
I also use ranting about lore to drive my enemies crazy, or just when I'm bored and want to bug someone who's trying to concentrate I also make lots of lore references that no one gets but me, cuz I have obscure knowledge that most people have never learned, so no one gets my jokes but me.
The only times I truly shut up are when I'm drunk (which is also when I purr a lot), or when I am studying an object, or writing in my journal.
I have a BUNCH of journals, which I spend lots of money to store or move around a lot so no one will find them, cuz they are full of my knowledge which is of course the most valuable thing to me. If asked where I keep them I just vaguely say "they're close by..." << >>
So I lose my money the typical tabaxi way also, getting info and such, which is why I can never afford my favorite foods: salmon cakes or dumplings with any kind of meat inside. I usually end up eating plum pudding instead, with Ale or a dessert wine if I can swing it.
I don't mind stealing if something interests me, but I'm also obsessed with scarves so I snag those every chance I get.
I don't act aggressive in general, but I can hold my own in a fight, and if my opponent is easy enough to beat I will read while kicking their ass (like Izumi in that one FMA scene! Lol)
As a rogue I like to make counterfeit $$$ for use in emergencies or to get out of a jam, and I don't mind injuring someone who interrupts me while reading or writing, or who teases my "cat" traits...
Other random facts:
I am slightly claustrophobic cuz of my past
I am very superstitious and even hate black cats (Lol), which can get in the way of a mission (ruins my initiative?)
Favorite color is seagreen
I have terrible handwriting that only I can read
I love shiny things that are white and sparkly or silver the best
OH also I say "consciously liberating" instead of "stealing"
And I have a lackey to keep track of my hoard and he sends stuff out as I see fit, Amazon style
