Lord Ichabod Alifort was a noble with a big heart, he comes from a well to do family from the town of Theddiscali, a once great city that is now surrounded by water, a result of powerful magic from a long dead dwarf wizard to which his family has no intention of solving to help the people. The Alifort family serves Barzhan, a political halfling who desires power, Ichabod stood up to her using magic but alas Ichabod was stopped and furthermore was cursed so that he was disconnected from the weave, shamed and broken by his families ridicule Ichabod isolated himself for many months, to study and to find a way to reconnect himself to the weave.   Upon his return everyone was shocked to see Ichabod, he looked and acted completely different, he was now shy, spoke with a stutter and was wider than he was tall, he informed his parents of a family from Lewald that was getting married that held great political prowess, he promised his parents that in way of atonement he would bring the family to their doorstep so the Alifort family will be able to progress forward with their own political games... This is where he meets the group.   Ichabod is a wild mage that uses his own blood as his focus, his big appearance means that there is more blood pumping through his veins which means more magic, he wears robes of purple and always carries a stuffed bear (Sir Tiddlesworth) which protects him from magical fear but not from his own phobias.
