Neither Joy nor Norman could believe what had happened. Their project, which they had been working on for the better part of a month, had been destroyed. They would have to start over, for the most part, but they had three days to finish something from the ground up. The task seemed impossible and they felt utterly hopeless.

Well, Joy felt utterly hopeless. Norman felt a sense of anger which he had never felt before. He knew who destroyed his and Joy's project, and the fact that he couldn't stop this made him feel powerless. It's more like how Norman let this happened that made him feel this way. He gave Richard the benefit of the doubt. Norman thought Richard would think better than to destroy his classmates' project for such a petty reason. Richard, did in fact, destroy their project for school, and Joy soon learned this after a quick investigation of the scene of the crime.

"That... that... absolute...." Joy started.

"Now's not the time." Norman objected.

"What do you mean, now's not the time? This absolute balderdash that we have to deal with from Richard is enough to make me want to tear my hair out"

"My mum once said that we shouldn't do anything-"

"Oh forget what your mum said!"

"JOY!"

Norman, as any good child, did not take too kindly to slander of his mother. Joy immediately knew she should have known better.

"... sorry." she whispered.

"It's more than alright. Our emotions are high and we shouldn't do anything until they're settled."

Joy was amazed. Norman didn't normally show this much emotional maturity.

"So what're we going to do?" Joy questioned.

"About the project, or Richard?"

"Both." Joy answered.

"Well we're going to calm down first. After we've calm down, then we'll plan. Being emotional might make our plans.... flawed."

Joy couldn't agree more.
