In the weeks following the cleansing of the aberrant's existence from the dig site, Faust, Yviira, Rae, and I all exchanged information so I could invite them to Aiya and I's upcoming wedding a year from then. Aiya's been working her ass off and not only graduated, but even revealed to me a side-project she'd been working on since I left to find the other three! It's not quite done yet, but she showed me her progress. She was a little nervous to show me, but she figured I'd enjoy seeing it. It ended up being a recreation of Kaimarian wedding gowns for each of us! I was shocked by the intricacies and accuracy of it all; it had been easily a few millennia since I've seen something like it and the thought that she had spent so much time and effort on them made me cry.

Yviira said that she planned to continue her potion business, but that she may move it somewhere with more demand so she could hire folks to get her ingredients instead of risking her life for them all the time. While she was still on-the-fence about an apprentice, she was confident that if she ever did take one up, that it'd be the right decision.

Faust returned back to his residence near Ascensia's city limits with claims that he had left something unsupervised for far too long; and that if he wanted to avoid a calamity, he'd need to get back as soon as possible. Despite the teasing and the encouraging, he never did attempt to ask Rae out... Which is a shame, as I thought they'd make a cute couple.

Speaking of, Rae returned to The Vas'kii Deserts to clean up the rest of the Null that the lich she fought had created. She also mentioned something about a dream regarding "Quaking Sands", but I didn't really catch what she meant by it all.

As for myself, I never could destroy that damned book I stole from the dig site... Yviira mentioned that she couldn't even get the enchantment off of it and she was hesitant to try tossing it into another black hole. I decided to have her place another enchantment over it instead. One that would disguise it as a normal book, although it had a pretty sinister side-effect where the book became semi-sentient and the pages of the book became filled with the details of the expedition and exorcism of the aberrant... I locked it in a box somewhere one day hoping to find a way to dispose of it at a later date, but haven't been able to find it since. Its whereabouts sometimes keeping me up at night with the potential for it to fall into the wrong hands.
