Editor Navigation
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I edit all my articles using the Old Version Editor. When I hit Save and then View to go see how the page looks, I may think of something and hit the Edit button at the top of the page to go back and add something new. Ever since the update, this takes me back to the new editor, which I do not want to use in any form. I then have to jump through the hoops of navigating back through to the Old Version Editor so I can do my work the way I want to.
We either need a global override to have the Old Version Editor be something we can set as the one we want to use on our world, or the Edit button should ask which editor we want to go back to when clicking on it.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
It allows me to keep working smoothly without having to do multiple navigations through laggy interfaces to get back to the editor I like using.
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! The old article edit will eventually be phased out completely (once the new one is updated to include all of the same features), so this is why you're seeing buttons like that one point to the new one. Since releasing the new UI we have implemented a ton of improvements and optimizations based on the feedback from the community, so I encourage you to try it again! If you have specific feedback or questions, please use the dedicated help and feedback channels you'll find in the "?" button at the top right.
