Inconsistent tooltip visuals fix

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

It appears that any punctuation mark placed into a tooltip is shown inconsistently in the (at least) the Euclid Editor. When you are writing down your text that would appear within the tooltip, it appears as italic & yellow, however once any punctuation mark is placed it looses that becoming plain white as the rest of the text would be outside of it. This can make creating tooltips visually confusing as it is hard to tell what is part of it & what is not.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

If you could fix this to allow punctuation to not interrupt the styling of the tooltips in the editor, that would be immensely appreciated, as it would allow for better consistency & easier use of the tooltips.

What are other uses for this feature request?

Fixing this can also help those with visual disabilities or other problems that may affect reading.

The Team's Response

Thanks for bringing this up! This is a bug rather than a feature suggestion, so it won't be addressed here. This syntax highlighter in the Advanced Editor is relatively recent and has some issues that need to be ironed out. Thanks for your patience!

This isn't a feature suggestion, but a bug report. Xuroth has been hard at work upgrading Euclid, which needed a complete overhaul, and not all of the automatic coloring is 100% yet.

Maybe it's because code is highly punctuation-sensitive, and so the coding area of tooltips thinks the punctuation is a stop to the code?
