Community Suggestion: Create Relationship Maps as Flow Charts instead of Content Trees
Create Relationship Maps as Flow Charts instead of Content Trees

chart -relationships flow-chart
The current implementation of Content Trees only works for extremely linear parent-child connections, starting with a top branch that then branches downward into subsections. For trying to map the connections between a large number of characters, this isn't nearly adequate enough, especially for characters that are not related and have connections to individuals at multiple levels of the tree.
A more ideal solution would be a flow chart, where each character would be represented by a box on the chart which you could then connect to one another however you wish through a variety of lines. This would allow for a full breakdown of inter-personal relationships, showing who has allegiances to whom, which characters are friends vs enemies, which characters are related, and so on.
As a visual aid, here's an example of the character connections from Kingdom Hearts that I found online:
The Team's Response
Although we might in the future create some some or flow chart system world anvil is NOT a flow chart creator - there are companies that specialise on JUST doing that as a full product. This is significantly out of scope. You can though create flow charts using any of those programs and then upload it as a MAP on WA and link your articles there.
