Family tree automatic character name update
I have a large family tree with a lot of repeating names. So I've been naming those people, name II, name III, name XVI etc.
I see that the name banner in the family tree pulls the "Give name" + "Family name" from the character article. Giving me a lot of just 'name' in a row.
It would be great if that can be expanded to "Given name" + "Family name" + "Suffix"
Additionally, for persons marrying into the family, I would put the new family name in the "family name" box and the old family name in the "maiden name" box on the character article.
But the family tree only shows those new family names.
Making it look like an even more extreme Targaryan family...
If it can be made that IF a "maiden name" is present, the Tree would choose that one over a "Family name" that would be super as well.
(same story for bloodline tree)

Thanks for the suggestion! First of all, maiden names are very culturally specific, and adding automatic culture-specific behaviors for names isn't something that we're planning currently. As for the rest of the suggestion (including full names), we'll take a look. Note that this won't be happening in the upcoming update to family trees, which will add them to the new UI, but to a future major upgrade to the family tree system itself.28/300 Votes · +8100 points

So far I've been adding the suffix to the family name to have it display in the Family Tree, but if Suffixes could be added it would make things easier. I could see it being a problem when Suffixes get longer and are used as titles, like "The Great" or something...
