species character-template feature-upgrade upgrade
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Right now I have to create a species article if I want to say what species a character is; however, when planning for a DnD campaign I don't want to have to do that to note what race a character is. For example, if I want to note that a character is a dwarf in the species entry, I would have to create a dwarf article.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
The ability to simply write in the species entry would allow others and myself to be able to easily notate what species a character is without having to create an article about it, improving workflow.
What are other uses for this feature request?
The Team's Response
Hello there!
I am really sorry but I will have to decline this - for now - All custom fields like the one requested above can be handed by the key-value system for example: --Species::Dinosaurus Super Rex this is the reason that this system exists. It creates identical to the linked relations entries on the presentation
You can add it very easily into the Sections > Sidebar > Sidepanel (top or bottom) as you please
If you are a Grandmaster you can also create your own Species article template that will have that there permanently when you create a new species :)
