What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
In the old Article-view interface (expanded view), you could easily see each article's subscriber groups and the number of page views (article view count ) under each listed article, in the overview list.
In the new "Articles and World" view there is no easy way of seeing this information.
You have to manually open each and every article and go into the subscriber button/pane, or into the article's metadata view, in case of the view count.
The closest thing we got with the new interface, is the ability to show the "Publishing" and "Public" states, and maybe sorting by "most viewed" / "filter by subscriber groups".
However, both options does not provide the missing information and you would have to do multiple steps in order to achieve what was possible in the old interface, in one easy overview.
Please bring back an easy overview option for showing all the article's subscriber groups and view counts, in the overview lists, like we could with the old interface.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
A lot of mouseclicks and timesaving issues, to achieve what was possible before.
What are other uses for this feature request?
None
Follow up
Found screendump of the expanded view list, which was possible with the old Interface.
Quick follow up, like stated originally, all I am asking for is an
option to see a overview, I am not asking for a forced change, that changes the view for everyone else.
When your whole world is set to "private" and access to all articles is handled by the subscriber system for users and groups, the overview however becomes very important.
I know of, and like, the new "View As" (insert user/group) feature, but it does not grant a good overview, when multiple different subscribers (users and groups) have access to 450+ articles spread across different categories, many of the articles have multiples user or groups.
The only sure way i can find, for seeing exactly which subscriber groups and users, that have access, is by opening each article separately, and then push the red lock button.
The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! Views are visible in the pre-made views filter list. Otherwise, this is closed due to lack of support from the community.
