Timeline Icons would be very helpful. There is so much going on in certain times that an Icon for it can make searching for it easier on the writers.

As the roaring Kobold said, you can already change the icon by changing the Event Type. That said, I'm fully in favor of being able to change the icon independent of this.

I'm all for more icons on Timeline Events. But there are already icons available other than the Star in Timelines. Changing the Event Type (to the left of Importance setting) when editing an event should change the event Icon.
