What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Characters are duplicated in family tree display if they are married to their siblings and the display instantly becomes weird. Make it so they don't appear double.For example here is a (ck3) family tree that looks nice and handles this use case (so it's not impossible to code):
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Family trees don't have characters duplicated. This could be misinterpreted as being 2 people with the same name. Especially for ethnicities where you have simple names such as "Bob". People would think the duplicated "Bob" with the same image among the other 14 "Bob"s is twins, but it's just a duplicated thing from the feature's mistake.What are other uses for this feature request?
None, it fixes family trees.Follow up
To unknownwriter88: it happens when you add them as a spouse and a sibling. Just like the suggestion says.

on 2022-05-13 16:50It might be a bug because it might be unintended behaviour of the family tree, but I'm not sure. This'd be wonderful in any case, for when family trees get funky (and not just from inbreeding, but also inter-marriage across generations who, while technically unrelated, intersect at multiple points).
