Is something going on with timelines? I only have one timeline in my Tarien world, and granted , it has a lot of entries, but I noticed that the first few entries (chronologically) and the last few entries (chronologically) are missing. Scrolling through, I found I was missing a significant number of others scattered throughout.   Hope this is just a UI glitch or something.   Thanks!   Mike

A lot of my timeline content is missing as well, can it be return? Or are we out of luck and have to start over?

I have the historical events and they show up in "related historical events" on the sidebar of articles associated to the event. But just like you, there's a random amount of them that just dont appear on their assigned timelines.

I've added, removed, draft-to-republish, edited every field to force saves. I can't figure it out

I have the same problem. Some random entries just dissapeared, they are still in historical events but not in the timeline. Just lost 70 hours of work, so I would appreciate this bug to be fixed.

Basically same here. Most of my most important and foundational stuff has just completely disappeared after weeks of work on a group timeline project

Hi there! Do not worry, all your data is safe. This is only an interface problem. I have figured out the issue and the patch is ready. It will go out some time tomorrow or the day after. At any rate, I will post here to let you know when the fix is out so you can test your timelines yourselves.

I ran into this as well with my world, Earth-196169 and after some head scratching, I found my missing articles in the Historical Entries without their timeline assignments, so I assigned them back but they didn't reappear in the timeline. I was talking with SoulLink and Lemmyboo in Discord about it, and we tried a few solutions before I found the tickets here. So, any lost work should be in the historical entries and I'm glad to see a patch is coming soon.

It's private but can be looked into with the Tourist user group.

My timeline also has several missing entries. I hope this patch restores it or I'll have to try to put in my own support ticket?

Ok, the patch went out today and as far as I can see it is working fine. All your histories should appear normally in your timelines. Take a look and let me know if there is anything wrong

So, the timeline entries I relinked from my Historical Entries appear to be back, and I'm working on relinking the rest. Kind of a pain but bugs happen.


The concerning thing is that my timeline appears to have reverted back to a distant previous version. It seems there are quite a few historical entries that are just gone, and some with missing text and date information.

Never at any point have any of your data been affected in any way. We never delete or change your data. Deleting only happens as a result of user interaction - literally clicking a delete button and confirming. The only other way to lose data is to overwrite something on your own. This was simply an interface problem and never affected any data at all. You should not need to change anything for your timelines to display correctly. Simply refresh the page so you get the latest patch. If something is still wrong it may be a different bug and might merit a separate report.
