Crested Ibis
The beautiful crested ibis was the rarest of birds. Deeply imbued with magic, its feathers make for a straighter arrow.
The crested ibis can be found in the Kédros forest forests of Froúrio nisí. It is a large bird, with beautiful white plumage and a red crest along its head. Once rare, it is returning to the island of Froúrio nisí.-- Kassandra

Anatomy
The crested ibis is a large (up to 78cm long), white-plumaged ibis. Its head is partially bare, showing red skin, and it has a dense crest of white plumes on the nape.
Ecology and Habitats
They make their nests at the tops of trees on hills usually overlooking their habitat.

Crested ibises usually eat small animals such as frogs and fishes in paddy fields and other wetlands.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
The ibis feathers were used in the fletching for magical arrows of the Lizardfolk, and were also used to make feather brooms for tea ceremonies.

Conservation Status
The crested ibis has made a significant recover over the past 1500 years, and is now frequently seen in the forests and wetlands of the island. It is unknown outside of Froúrio Nisí.
