Kassandra
Kassandra, daughter of the king and queen, in the temple of Apollo, exhausted from practising, is said to have fallen asleep; whom, when Apollo wished to embrace her, she did not afford the opportunity of her body. On account of which thing, when she prophesied true things, she was not believed.Before coming to Zihæt, Kassandra was a princess of a mighty people. From this position, she witnessed the Morningstar's power to subvert entire peoples and the chaos and destruction that accompanied it. At the end of the Great War, the victors offered her a chance to start anew. Personally humiliated but not broken, she vowed that the truth would once more have meaning. On Zihæt, she founded the Order of Akadimía. She dedicated this organization to preserving the history of the war and ensuring truth has meaning.

Personal history
Kassandra was a princess during the Great War. The Morningstar corrupted her brother Paris, drawing her family into the war.
According to legend, she warned her people repeatedly about their enslavement to the Morningstar and the horrors to come. She was dismissed as mad and forced to watch her predictions come true.
During the fall, Kassandra stood against the Morningstar. She was recognized for her bravery by the victors and earned an opportunity at redemption on Zihæt.
Kassandra, or Cassandra, is the daughter of Priam and Hecuba of Troy. In Homer's Iliad, she is the most beautiful of Priam's daughters.
Euripedes' tragedy "The Trojan Women" and Aeschylus's tragedy Agamemnon portrays Kassandra as a priestess of Apollo. Marion Zimmer Bradley's The Firebrand tells the story of the trojan war from Kassandra's perspective. In these tellings, she obtains the gift of foresight from Apollo. Later, Apollo curses her to predict events accurately, but not believed.
Akadimía re-envisions the tellings of the Trojan War as echoes of The Great War. In this version, the gift of prophecy may have been from Apollo, the Morningstar, or perhaps originally from Apollo and twisted by The Morningstar.
On Zihæt, she founded the Order of Akadimía and the Council of Fýlakes.
