Mount Kore

Mount Kore the highest point of the Froúrio Range. It stands 1,772 metres (5814 ft).   Mount Kore is covered in Cedar forests, with game paths through and over the mountain.   During the winter months the peak is also covered in snow.

Fauna & Flora

The forest is a variety of cedar and other coniferous trees. Bears, tanuki and boar have been seen in the upper forest. Squirrels, sable, deer and fox and wild felines, and snakes feast on a variety of vegetation as well as birds, frogs and insects.

Natural Resources

Significant metallurgical deposits. See Froúrio Range for more information. The cedar trees are used for local building materials. Farmers have been known to raise goats in the upper elevation.
