Dragon Scion Ancestry


You may choose three major inheritances, or two major inheritances and two minor inheritances, or one major inheritance and four minor inheritances.  

Major Inheritances

Bloodline Magic

Your blood carries an affinity to the magic that permeates Zihæt. This allows you to manipulate the raw energy without a conduit. This feature is required for spellcasting classes that depend on Bloodline magic.


You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey.


You can use your action to expel the energy (in a manner appropriate to your character) that circulates within you as destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the energy (as found in the Player’s Handbook).   When you use this effect, each creature in the area of the effect must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus.   A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.  

Minor Inheritances


You automatically know the type and worth of gems you find. You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks to determine if you are getting a good deal when buying or selling items of value Rare or rarer.


You are proficient in the Athletics skill.

Imposing Figure

You are proficient in the Intimidation skill.


You are proficient with one type of artisan’s tools.
