The former Lead Instructor Instructor of Law and Society, Herm was one of the faculty resisting during the Fall of Froúrio.

Herm is inflicted with the Lycanthropy condition present in many of the leading family members of the Chronis Family. His particular condition is that he can become a bear. During his transformation, he grows to an enormous size, and can lash out with weapons or claws. He is careful not to bite his victims so not to pass on what he views as a curse.

He is generally a solitary person who prefers his own company to that of others. The irony of the professor studying society, but not wishing to engage in it, is not lost upon him or his other staff.
