Iófus Caldera
The Iófus Caldera was formed follwing an eruption in 2850. The area is best known for the current Lake Eleusis and the The Great Boiling Valley.
Geography
The Iófus Caldera was formed between the Froúrio Range and Mount Eleusis following a significant eruption of the volcano that preceeded it in 2850. Today the area is a key feature of Froúrio nisí. Lake Eleusis now fills most of the caldera, with The Great Boiling Valley on its outer edge.
Natural Resources
The area remains a focus of low level volcanic activity.
History
The eruption of this area occured in 2850, shortly after the withdrawal of the Persopoulos Tribe from Froúrio nisí.
