Personal history
She spent most of her final year on the island of Froúrio in the mountains, focusing on her art as opposed to her studies. During that time, she met a mysterious young man, Asími Kallitéchnis, who seemed to be a ascetic, spending much of his time in nature and worshiping at the local shrine. The two formed a deep bond, and were married in a private ceremony.
Soon after their marriage, Ianessa discovered she was pregnant with Ianthe Meletitís. However before she could share the good news, Asími disappeared. Ianessa searched frantically for him, before returning home to Astériapólis in a state of despair. Shortly after giving birth, Ianessa took her own life, leaving her extended family to raise Ianthe.
